In four years, chART had donated to over 200 charities. chART has expanded to Palm Beach with events, and is slated for events Naples in 2009.

Starting her career in the 1980s, Casey was the marketing director for First Team Management. In 1991, Casey launched Cutting Edge Communications, Inc. to provide creative, production and media services to a diverse clientele with a focus on broadcast advertising. Scope of project has varied from complete marketing management to project work. Casey works directly with accounts and also partners with the media and other agencies.

While in college, she was a founding member and vice president of Quotes, the student organization for Florida Public Relations Association, one of two students chosen for the Professional Advertising Advisory Committee to create a strategic plan  for the UCF Communications Department, and one of the top advertising salespeople for The Future, the university newspaper.

In 1987, the newly formed Orlando Area Advertising Federation's AD2 Club for young professionals won Club of the Year and membership tripled under her leadership as President. She has held many other board positions and offices to serve her industry and community.

Casey continues to actively serve her community and currently serves on the Orlando Board for The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, helps promote Central Florida Ballet and is a member of For Arts Group and  University of Central Florida's Town and Gown Council.

Her work has earned several Addy Awards and other industry accolades.

Casey is a descendant of Alfred Lord Tennyson (1800s) on her father's side and Isaac Pennington (1600s) son of the Mayor of London, on her mother's side, both famous passionate British writers.

Casey likewise brings a passion to her work, often writing client approved finished copy in the first draft.

"It's not just about being creative. The rewards are results, not awards. I can generally please the toughest of clients because I understand how to sell through the media."

"I was captain of my high school swim team and was on the first NSSA (National Scholastic Surfing Association) team at UCF in 1980-83.
I carry that competitive spirit into the marketplace when I represent my clients.  There is something about competing in a sport where you swim with things that want to eat you that teaches you to compete, be alert, and still have fun."
